Where Does the Money Go?

The money raised at the Ride to Defeat ALS stays in Massachusetts, to provide services for ALS patients such as:

$75- can give a patient a loaned wheelchair delivery

$80- can pay for a transfer tub bench to enable a patient to go from a wheelchair to a bathtub

$120- can pay for a transport wheelchair that enables patients to travel outside of the house. They fold for easy packing in a car or other modes of travel. 

$175- can pay for a manual wheelchair for patients in the early stage of ALS

$200- can provide a monthly support group and/or professional insurance and benefits counseling for patients

$7500- can provide professional staff to attend and support the bi-monthly Curt and Shonda Schilling ALS Clinic at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center per year.
