Kelli & Ashley
2009 Say It With Flowers co-chairs Kelli Pedroia and Ashley Papelbon are asking for your help in raising funds to purchase a new van for The ALS Association Massachusetts Chapter.

Ashley and Kelli Van Appeal

The Fifth Annual Say It With Flowers was an incredible event, thanks to the generosity of countless sponsors, donors, attendees and volunteers.  But amid the elegance of the affair, there remains a great need of support for people living with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis.  Heidi McCann, the event's keynote speaker, gave an amazing account of her experience with the disease and the struggles she endured - particularly when needing to transport her husband, Curt, to the hospital for treatment.  This is an all too familiar tale for families living with ALS.  In light of this, we are making a special appeal for your further reflection and support.

There is an immediate need for funds to purchase a new specially-equipped van for transporting ALS patients to appointments, and for delivering medical equipment to patients' homes.  We are asking you to open your hearts, and wallets, and help us raise $30,000 for this special appeal.

Through the generosity of a few, $4,000 has been raised thus far; a good start but obviously way short of goal.  The ALS Association Massachusetts Chapter needs your help.
